Press Release Body: Expectations concerning the ERP market We talked with Burhan Oralp, managing director of Bilisim, about the current status of the ERP market and what it is going to become in the forthcoming years and their expectations from the CeBIT. “The Turkish SMEs which were using many types of software (ERPs, stock control programs, mostly accounting etc.) in their companies were seven percent of all of the SMEs in 2006. But by now, the software market grows by 20 percent every year in the number of customers and now 10 percent of SMEs are using a software system (or more, without integration of all functions in their company) in their companies. Turkey has 1.5 million SMEs and despite the low percentage rate, the number of companies which decide to use a software system in their company is growing rapidly. There will also be visitors from over 70 countries who will visit CeBIT. So, this is going to be the best place for us to serve or meet our customers and potential customers from all over Southeast Europe and the Black Sea region. So we see CeBIT Eurasia 2008 as the best event for us to achieve our abas aim: To be the first software solution in ERP business for SMEs.
